The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, KaoS Futbol Club's Herbert Tworek threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Igor Lebas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bękarty Wojny's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lluis Companys was slow to take the kick. During this time KaoS Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest.
