The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Full Fart Framåt's Eric Donnarumma got control of the ball when Antonio Guillelme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Full Fart Framåt's Eric Donnarumma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Full Fart Framåt from getting a goal against them. Northern California's David Schembri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Crespo in the 9th minute of play. David Schembri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Morais in the 10th minute of the match. Eric Donnarumma made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jonathan Bernaldo sent off a good shot on target. Full Fart Framåt's Eric Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Isazi in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Svanberg came free, but David Schembri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Chorche got free with Eric Donnarumma in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Anselmo Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The corner led Northern California's Jonathan Bernaldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Donnarumma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute Gustavo Isazi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Chorche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Full Fart Framåt's Eric Donnarumma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Full Fart Framåt from getting a goal against them. David Schembri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Igelström, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 34 minutes in the game, Filiph Igelström dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, Full Fart Framåt's Luca Crespo got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Morais in the 42nd minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Eric Donnarumma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Isazi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Eric Donnarumma made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Isazi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Bernaldo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. David Schembri made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luca Crespo sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Antonio Guillelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Chorche came free, but Eric Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 68 minutes on the clock, David Llorian commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Full Fart Framåt's John Ahlfors was substituted for Lion Kyrk. The supporters of Full Fart Framåt booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Llorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Crespo was slow to take the kick. During this time Full Fart Framåt's players had a chance to rest. David Schembri came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Full Fart Framåt's Luca Crespo. But to his dismay, Luca Crespo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 88 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Morais came free, but David Schembri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Miquel Portes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Bernaldo in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Full Fart Framåt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
