An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pracki in the 24th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristo Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Colas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Pracki went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Cumhur Günay came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cumhur Günay couldn't finish the play. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Esteve Garin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victorio Sabino in the 42 minute of the game. Cristo Colas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Pracki's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After the first half Belgrano LOS PIRATAS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Fabricio Martino was substituted for Anibal Misael. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Pracki was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a corner. Almeyra F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carroll Mansfield ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cumhur Günay got free with Cristo Colas in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Carroll Mansfield got a free kick in the 60th minute. Cumhur Günay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Colas having to interfere. Herbert Pracki scored 0-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Colas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almeyra F.C.'s Cayetano Sarracino was substituted for Saverio Locaio. After having played for 74 minutes, Aaron Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almeyra F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Donostia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Colas made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Teodoro Hartz sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Txanton took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Carroll Mansfield hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Victorio Sabino sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Rogério Ceni showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Teodoro Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristo Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Braulio Txanton notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS defense, Cayetano Sarracino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. Almeyra F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
