When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alfonso Gilabert sped through Montalcino SE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz. If Alfonso Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Chorche didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaltino Figueiredo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
