The supporters of Café DE PLOEG booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Gielis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck got control of the ball when Bartolo Basualdo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartolo Basualdo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carel Van de Schrieck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 23rd minute of play forced Café DE PLOEG's goalkeeper Carel Van de Schrieck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by I-Made 吕正岚 in the 28th minute of play. Bartolo Basualdo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Deportivo Popolizio FBC were awarded a corner. Edward Kaczor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Edward Kaczor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck did a great save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Café DE PLOEG's goalie and right to Joao Montanez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Café DE PLOEG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 61 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Joao Montanez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carel Van de Schrieck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Kaczor in the 62nd minute.
