The crowd rose to their feet as Paso FC's Oktay Eğriöz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Abarca. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

56 minutes into the game, Paso FC's Oktay Eğriöz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Abarca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Paso FC made a substitution. Denis Rivas replaced Oktay Eğriöz. When Denis Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Paso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Rivas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Abarca having to interfere. Ramon Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leopoldo Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Rivas took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Abarca. Leopoldo Abarca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Denis Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Deportivo Madera's Leopoldo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Rivas in the 77th minute of play. Tomas Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paso FC's Denis Rivas got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Rivas in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes, Constantino Lucado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Madera and the Paso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Deportivo Madera got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Lucado. The audience was convinced that Denis Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Abarca was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Paso FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Paso FC's Denis Rivas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paso FC had played much better football throughout.
