Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Sempels, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Café DE PLOEG's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Basualdo came free, but Carel Van de Schrieck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Kaczor in the 12th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Café DE PLOEG's goalie and right to Araoz Solanos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Café DE PLOEG's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 14 minutes into the game, Bartolo Basualdo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carel Van de Schrieck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermann Hesse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Kloots in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Bartolo Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carel Van de Schrieck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Bartolo Basualdo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Carel Van de Schrieck. Bartolo Basualdo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carel Van de Schrieck. Carel Van de Schrieck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a little luck, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse got control of the ball when Ludwig Kloots tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Café DE PLOEG getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bóas Goethals hit a great ball. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Erruki Velarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carel Van de Schrieck was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Luisinho Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Café DE PLOEG fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Carel Van de Schrieck had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Tibor Nyilasi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Carel Van de Schrieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Nyilasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tibor Nyilasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibor Nyilasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carel Van de Schrieck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joao Montanez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Café DE PLOEG got a freekick which was hit by I-Made 吕正岚.
