The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Karl-Oskar Jonsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes, Liviu Zubaşcu made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edoardo Cabrini's late challenge caught a Uptown Otters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Cabrini helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uptown Otters booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Cabrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Liviu Zubaşcu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aimilios Manolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Fortunato in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Surdilă notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Fabian Kaszubowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kaszubowski in the 38th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 39th minute of play. Elia Cicchini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aimilios Manolas having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Kaszubowski in the 61st minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Kaszubowski in the 63rd minute of the match. Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liviu Zubaşcu in the 64th minute. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Surdilă in the 65th minute of play. Emiliano Cara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Valdieri:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uptown Otters:s goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Liviu Zubaşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Karl-Oskar Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Kaszubowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Franco Sarnelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Valdieri booed when Uptown Otters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Lefevre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. After 97 minutes of play, Uptown Otters's Liviu Zubaşcu made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uptown Otters played a much better game than Valdieri and deserved their victory. The Valdieri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
