Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Though ot was a great shot Scylla G.C.E's keeper Cirilo Frederico was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 25th minute Kauan de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nykvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scylla G.C.E's Cirilo Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Scylla G.C.E from getting a goal against them. Cirilo Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Del Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Scylla G.C.E's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmondo Del Monte. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Scylla G.C.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Nykvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Silva made a kick off. Ingvar Nykvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Cruz in the 54th minute. Cirilo Frederico came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva. But to his dismay, Santiago Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Scylla G.C.E's Cirilo Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Del Monte in the 59th minute of play. Kauan de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Nykvist having to interfere. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Sotiris Zacharakis was substituted for Edmondo Del Monte. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ronaldão Mendonça was substituted for Gustav Kock. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Silva in the 74th minute of play forced Scylla G.C.E's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Petruț Cucerzan fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scylla G.C.E's protests and gave Petruț Cucerzan a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Scylla G.C.E got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Cucerzan. Scylla G.C.E's Andrzej Olchawa was substituted for Saturnino Gartzea. In the 81st minute, Sotiris Zacharakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Scylla G.C.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Cucerzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scylla G.C.E's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
