The supporters of Callegari booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé 武松 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rubinho Lago. Rubinho Lago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Barnaba Kolba made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. KFC Cromvelde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KFC Cromvelde getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jochen Van den Panhuizen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Callegari's Hamílton Sampaio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dé 武松 got free with Rubinho Lago in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé 武松 in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Barnaba Kolba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Barnaba Kolba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Callegari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barnaba Kolba to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. Callegari's Taco Van Der Hoorn was substituted for Barnaba Kolba. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jânio Loureiro hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Jochen Van den Panhuizen got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Eugenio Cirulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Callegari's Dé Terra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Callegari reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Taco Van Der Hoorn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Callegari's supporters rose to their feet, but Taco Van Der Hoorn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Louis Van Bever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Callegari's goal looked a bit too open when Mathijs Rokeloos came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 77th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Callegari's Jean-Louis Van Bever threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Taco Van Der Hoorn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Taco Van Der Hoorn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Louis Van Bever having to make a save. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Van Der Hoorn in the 89th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taco Van Der Hoorn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Louis Van Bever having to make a save. In the 91st match minute, Callegari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cãtãlin Cociu to maneuver through the defense. Cosmin Contra, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Callegari's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
