Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Loi in the 25th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lee Kerr was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 28th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Takeshi Bieberstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SV Bad Harzburg from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Brendon Bale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacek Matuch, 1-2. Lee Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Brendon Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colin Tindale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. If Silvestre Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Josselin. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Silvestre Loi made the kick off in the second half. Alex Zinchenko made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Colin Tindale immediately put the ball in play. In the 66th minute, Silvestre Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ash Cole kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toralf Hell to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Loi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SV Bad Harzburg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
