After a defensive mix-up in Cyprus Eagles AFC's zone, Igor Cavalera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Fotiadis came out of the goal and Igor Cavalera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Cavalera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavlos Fotiadis having to make a save. Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 10th minute of play. Igor Cavalera scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlos Fotiadis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavlos Fotiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cavalera, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Igor Cavalera took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlos Fotiadis. Pavlos Fotiadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cavalera in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Igor Cavalera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Fotiadis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cyprus Eagles AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ogro F.C.'s Igor Cavalera got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nontas Markas was the one to do the kick off. Pavlos Fotiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cavalera in the 51st minute of play. Ogro F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Minnemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marco Minnemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pavlos Fotiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Minnemann in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Cyprus Eagles AFC booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
