But to his dismay, Emil Wincek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lia Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Santos having to make a save. Iker Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Wincek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wincek, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The corner led to La Società Sport Osasco's Dudu Moreno getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Philippe Albert with Rab Uba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Emil Wincek made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Società Sport Osasco booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position.
