The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ove Bergman to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Casillas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Urko Vinuesa got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Fabrizio Canzano hit a great ball. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Casillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cifuentes in the 61st minute of play. Flavio Cifuentes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Casillas having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Flavio Cifuentes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. In the 75th minute Marcelo Cavenaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espinosa Marco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. Villa Gordiani's Natã de Salles was substituted for Arrigo Marrone. Iker Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obregón Pardemanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Obregón Pardemanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Espinosa Marco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Casillas. Villa Gordiani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Espinosa Marco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taltum FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villa Gordiani had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
