Nando Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Zhang Chang Yang made a huge save. In the 9th match minute, S.C. Ferrari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Söderqvist to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Reis made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Qiao Liang Zhou immediately put the ball in play. Zhang Chang Yang came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ronaldo Joinvilense hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tord Söderqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillen Aguillar was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Zhang Chang Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 25th minute of the match. Guillen Aguillar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolves FC - DMZ's Gildo Pimenta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lu Bing Yin in the 35 minute of the game. Zhang Chang Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Ronaldo Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Chang Yang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Zhang Chang Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esbjörn Löfkvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Löhr got free with Zhang Chang Yang in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
