Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with the kick off. Jonas Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Madgearu having to interfere. In the 11th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Jonas Herz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calistrat Madgearu. Jonas Herz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 14 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Bieber was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zelg FC! Romeo Gherghescu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 28th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tiberiu Caramarin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sepp Mainville was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Calistrat Madgearu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Clerc in the 41st minute. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilles Clerc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sepp Mainville was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Monney came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sepp Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tiberiu Caramarin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Mainville was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. In the 69th minute MIT were awarded a corner. Romeo Gherghescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Sepp Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes Zelg FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihăiţă Ilarie who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jonas Herz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Nicodim Orășan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodim Orășan couldn't finish the play. David Tunander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sepp Mainville came out and tried to block the shot, but David Tunander slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 85th minute. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Frankl Nadel got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Nicodim Orășan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MIT were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Zelg FC's much stronger midfield.
