Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonas Herz started the match with the kick off. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. 7 minutes in the game Florin Seremet did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dorin Banu. Stephan Eichenberger kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MIT's goalie prevented a goal. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Madgearu saved MIT from getting behind. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by MIT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albain Furst was slow to take the kick. During this time Zelg FC's players had a chance to rest. Zelg FC's Gilles Clerc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Calistrat Madgearu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sepp Mainville was a little too slow when Tiberiu Caramarin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-1. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match MIT got a corner. Zelg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Gherghescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 39 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sepp Mainville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, MIT's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Calistrat Madgearu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tiberiu Caramarin made the kick off in the second half. Sepp Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Serge Tomasini hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Madgearu saved MIT from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilles Clerc got free with Calistrat Madgearu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Sărăroiu to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sepp Mainville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Ivan Bieber put in a rough tackle. MIT made a substitution. Mihăiţă Ilarie replaced Aurel Buzea. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Zelg FC booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Balotă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Caramarin's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute MIT were awarded a corner. Bogdan Bucataru went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bogdan Bucataru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sepp Mainville quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sepp Mainville made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 94 minutes into the match, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sepp Mainville narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zelg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
