After 27 minutes, Jacek Kielb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korona Kielce and the Leicester Foxes Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, Korona Kielce's Simon Wray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 梅荣光 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jez Alcock's late challenge caught a Korona Kielce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jez Alcock helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Leicester Foxes Academy got a freekick which was hit by Jez Alcock. Richard Brearley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Joachim in the 39th minute. 梅荣光 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Duxbury in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Simon Wray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. 梅荣光 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Jez Alcock made a precise shot to the right of Richard Brearley. Korona Kielce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Korona Kielce's Patrick Davis was substituted for Rhys Rathmell. If Maciej Korzym had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leicester Foxes Academy's Seth Bagshaw was substituted for Jez Alcock. Leicester Foxes Academy's 梅荣光 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Foxes Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korona Kielce's goalkeeper Richard Brearley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richard Brearley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seth Bagshaw's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Joachim came free, but Richard Brearley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Joachim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Brearley having to interfere. 梅荣光 made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jacek Kielb sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Stephen Duxbury's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 梅荣光 was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Korona Kielce's Richard Brearley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Niven in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leicester Foxes Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Korona Kielce had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
