Carl Atkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Mitchell having to interfere. Zak Lloyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Vaughan in the 14th minute of the match. Zak Lloyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Sugden, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute The Tigers were awarded a corner. Liam Clark went to the cornerflag to take it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zane Jordoan was the one to do the kick off. Darren Vaughan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Zak Lloyd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 53 minutes of play, Harchester United's Seth Sugden made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harchester United's Robert Saville was substituted for Jonathan Nightingale. When Seth Sugden came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Harchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth Sugden couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Soares in the 68th minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Zak Lloyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Saville kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Harchester United got a freekick which was hit by Den Vaughn. Zak Lloyd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Seth Sugden showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 82 minute of play. Darren Vaughan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zak Lloyd came out and tried to block the shot, but Darren Vaughan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Harchester United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
