The YELLOW FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Vlachakis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nikos Triantopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Kostas Seremeglis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Kalokiris's late challenge caught a YELLOW FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Kalokiris helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Dimitris Kalokiris got a free kick in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Antonis Maltezos came out of the goal and Nikos Triantopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
