The crowd rose to their feet as Nasos Aggeliou kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marios Kamarinopoulos. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Spyros Papazoglou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marios Kamarinopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kolopetinitsa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Spyros Papazoglou in the 17th minute. Kolopetinitsa's Spyros Papazoglou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marios Kamarinopoulos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marios Kamarinopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markos Melisofagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Chrisostomos Bourdas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Matsikidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasos Aggeliou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Kamarinopoulos having to interfere. If Theofilos Zaninos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Chrisostomos Bourdas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markos Melisofagos to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Markos Melisofagos. 60 minutes into the game, Kolopetinitsa's Alkis Athanasiou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marios Kamarinopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alkis Athanasiou hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Kyriakos Matsikidis made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Theofilos Zaninos sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes, Konstantinos Chiotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the tHe SOnS of rAGnar and the Kolopetinitsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to tHe SOnS of rAGnar getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Konstantinos Chiotis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in tHe SOnS of rAGnar's zone, Spyros Papazoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marios Kamarinopoulos came out of the goal and Spyros Papazoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Kabantais to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanos Kotitsas during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Thanos Kotitsas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Markos Melisofagos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Marios Kamarinopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefanos Xomeritakis to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for tHe SOnS of rAGnar! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kolopetinitsa had played much better football throughout.
