Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Karhulan Veikot's Aadolf Martikainen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Jari Welling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joona Rosenqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joona Rosenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Welling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joona Rosenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Welling in the 13th minute of play. If Aadolf Martikainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jari Welling scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joona Rosenqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Kaj Ahola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joona Rosenqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joona Rosenqvist came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Jari Welling. But to his dismay, Jari Welling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jari Welling took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joona Rosenqvist. Joona Rosenqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Karhulan Veikot's Aadolf Martikainen got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Roni Kaitainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palloketut's supporters rose to their feet, but Roni Kaitainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joona Rosenqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Palloketut were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jari Welling to make the kick off. Jari Welling came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joona Rosenqvist could save by the left post. 54 minutes into the game, Palloketut's Jari Welling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joona Rosenqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 58 minutes into the match, Palloketut's Jari Welling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joona Rosenqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Markkanen during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrik Markkanen hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd play minute Jari Welling came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joona Rosenqvist. 0-7. Jari Welling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joona Rosenqvist having to make a save. After 65th play minutes Jari Welling shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Joona Rosenqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Palloketut's attentive Iisakki Niinimaa managed to snatch the ball when Jere Noronen made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Jari Welling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Joona Rosenqvist made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Jari Welling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joona Rosenqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Jari Welling struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Joona Rosenqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palloketut. Joona Rosenqvist made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jari Welling sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valentin Uusiniemi hit a great ball. Joona Rosenqvist was a little too slow when Kaj Ahola got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-10.
