Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pietari Jaakkola in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reijo Ilola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfred Ruohonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arttu Piiroinen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The Kultapossukerho fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Kultapossukerho's Pietari Jaakkola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's Alfred Ruohonen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reijo Ilola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfred Ruohonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Uusiniemi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Aadolf Martikainen came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Karhulan Veikot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aadolf Martikainen couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Daddy Seppo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reijo Ilola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pietari Jaakkola in the 34th minute of the match. Karhulan Veikot's Reijo Ilola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Ruohonen in the 38th minute of play. Pietari Jaakkola struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Reijo Ilola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kultapossukerho. 43 minutes into the game, Pietari Jaakkola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Reijo Ilola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfred Ruohonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reijo Ilola having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aadolf Martikainen to make the kick off. Pietari Jaakkola succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Reijo Ilola made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Arto Hytönen sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Alfred Ruohonen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reijo Ilola, 0-6. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Pietari Jaakkola took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Reijo Ilola to make any attempt to save it. Karhulan Veikot's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Pietari Jaakkola scored to the left of an out of position Reijo Ilola, making the score, 0-8. After 82 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Aadolf Martikainen. When Pietari Jaakkola came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Kultapossukerho fans jumped to their feet. Kasperi Oravainen's late challenge caught a Karhulan Veikot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasperi Oravainen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kultapossukerho getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kasperi Oravainen hit a great ball.
