Simon Vogelsang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Gläsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute of the match Felix Agu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Vogelsang skillfully saved the ball. Jamal Gläsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Simon Vogelsang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Adalbert Gniech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Christoph Tiede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Vogelsang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Tiede to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Vielmann in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Vogelsang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ortwin Elbert hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. TSV Delliehausen's Knud Schröder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kai Hilljegerdes but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute of the match Felix Agu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Vogelsang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Adalbert Gniech hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Felix Agu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Vogelsang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 36th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Simon Vogelsang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Vielmann in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Gläsel came free, but Simon Vogelsang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 40th minute of play forced TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper Simon Vogelsang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christoph Tiede fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJK Füchtel Vechta's protests and gave Christoph Tiede a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, DJK Füchtel Vechta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Tiede to maneuver through the defense. Folke Vielmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Vogelsang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieter Kapelle made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Simon Vogelsang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Vogelsang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Adalbert Gniech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TSV Delliehausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJK Füchtel Vechta the free kick. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adalbert Gniech hit a great ball. Simon Vogelsang was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felix Agu. The corner ended in Christian Plate almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes did a great save. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Christian Plate put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kai Hilljegerdes. In the 67th minute, Dieter Kapelle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSV Delliehausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 70th minute Dieter Kapelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hilljegerdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Vogelsang was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joseph Lötters. 74 minutes into the game, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Vogelsang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jamal Gläsel got free with Simon Vogelsang in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ante Kopitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Folke Vielmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simon Vogelsang saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kai Hilljegerdes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Plate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Agu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Vogelsang. TSV Delliehausen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jamal Gläsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Vogelsang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jamal Gläsel in the 95th minute. The TSV Delliehausen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DJK Füchtel Vechta to win.
