Klaus Vielhaus charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus Vielhaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Vielhaus. TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save TSV Delliehausen from getting a goal against them. Simon Vogelsang was a little too slow when Klaus Vielhaus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Eckard Döngelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Eckard Döngelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vogelsang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute of the match, Eckard Döngelli got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simon Vogelsang was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Simon Vogelsang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to TSV Delliehausen getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elmar Brink hit a great ball. When SV Bad Harzburg's Eckard Döngelli in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TSV Delliehausen's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieter Kapelle made a kick off. Simon Vogelsang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halldor Sönksen in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Brink to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halldor Sönksen in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Vogelsang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, John Rambo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Simon Vogelsang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Eckard Döngelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bad Harzburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Simon Vogelsang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Richter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Rexhaus charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Marc Richter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Vogelsang was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 92ndth minute of the game Marc Richter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Knud Schröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Richter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Simon Vogelsang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
