Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamal Gläsel started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by DJK Füchtel Vechta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Semjon Schapiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Hertha 1969's players had a chance to rest. 10 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Kai Hilljegerdes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Stripf. When Jamal Gläsel fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DJK Füchtel Vechta's protests and gave Jamal Gläsel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute of the match Klemens Teubner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai Hilljegerdes skillfully saved the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Ortwin Elbert put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Hertha 1969's Semjon Schapiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kai Hilljegerdes. 29 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Mark Stripf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kai Hilljegerdes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Stripf in the 32nd minute of play. Erich Pietta came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by DJK Füchtel Vechta's Christoph Tiede. But to his dismay, Christoph Tiede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 36th minute Adam Jäckel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Hilljegerdes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erich Pietta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Tiede in the 38th minute of play. Jamal Gläsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erich Pietta having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Adam Jäckel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kai Hilljegerdes, 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Jäckel to make the kick off. Mark Stripf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Erich Pietta managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when DJK Füchtel Vechta's Jamal Gläsel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Jäckel in the 61st minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Kai Hilljegerdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ante Kopitz got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Semjon Schapiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai Hilljegerdes skillfully saved the ball. Christoph Tiede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Erich Pietta made a huge save. Semjon Schapiro's late challenge caught a DJK Füchtel Vechta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semjon Schapiro helped the player get up and apologised. Semjon Schapiro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Christoph Tiede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Pietta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai Hilljegerdes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Jäckel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stripf in the 78th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Kai Hilljegerdes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Kai Hilljegerdes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jäckel in the 82nd minute of play. Hertha 1969's Erich Pietta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute DJK Füchtel Vechta were awarded a corner. Felix Agu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Felix Agu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erich Pietta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the match, Christoph Tiede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erich Pietta. Hertha 1969's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoph Tiede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Hertha 1969 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DJK Füchtel Vechta for a fine match.
