The Czechia Hradec Králové fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Borůvka should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Štefka was the one to do the kick off. Josef Blažej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Borůvka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Špalek in the 55th minute of play forced Czechia Hradec Králové's goalkeeper Jan Borůvka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Golden Tigers were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Czechia Hradec Králové's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Míchal took the corner. Golden Tigers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
