The supporters of Armada booed when -BZF- Valea Buzăului was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Gherguț didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Răducanu, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Teodor Finteșteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Finteșteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosmin Galiceanu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Armada's Dorin Mereuță. But to his dismay, Dorin Mereuță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Mereuță came free, but Cosmin Galiceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Toader Răducanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iona Tudora charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iona Tudora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iona Tudora might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergiu Rădescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iona Tudora ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Iona Tudora got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cosmin Galiceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Mereuță in the 34th minute of the match. Cosmin Galiceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Bornescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Ernest Bornescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cosmin Galiceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. -BZF- Valea Buzăului were furious when Dinu Gherguț was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 45 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Gherguț. Dorin Mereuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cosmin Galiceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Ulici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Răducanu in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Toader Răducanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Cosmin Galiceanu to make any attempt to save it. Iona Tudora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Rădescu having to make a save. Iona Tudora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sergiu Rădescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Armada's Toader Răducanu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Cosmin Galiceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Otopeanu in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Toader Răducanu. Sergiu Rădescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iona Tudora, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Bornescu in the 79th minute of play. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Cosmin Galiceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Mereuță in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Nichita. Toader Răducanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Galiceanu having to interfere. Mihăiţă Mandache kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Sergiu Rădescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Ulici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Armada's performance. The match ended with a win for Armada.
