Augustin Pantilimon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Augustin Nechifor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Augustin Pantilimon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augustin Pantilimon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Nechifor's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Nichifor Vergulescu in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augustin Pantilimon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 16th minute Augustin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Pantilimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustin Pantilimon stood somewhat misplaced when Augustin Nechifor came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Augustin Pantilimon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Lucrețiu Mihăescu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal Giulesti's protests and gave Lucrețiu Mihăescu a yellow card for diving instead. Lucrețiu Mihăescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Augustin Pantilimon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lucian Şimonca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Octavian Bogdănescu made a huge save. After 54 minutes, Augustin Nechifor made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Arsenal Giulesti's Augustin Pantilimon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valer Cobâlcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Augustin Pantilimon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Nichifor Vergulescu. But to his dismay, Nichifor Vergulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Vergulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augustin Pantilimon was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Costin Iorgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Pantilimon. Arsenal Giulesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Iorgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 83 minutes into the game, FC Steaua Pildesti's Octav Mergea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Pantilimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. In the 87th minute, Nichifor Vergulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 15-0. 91 minutes into the match, Costin Iorgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Pantilimon. Arsenal Giulesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Iorgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. There was no doubt that FC Steaua Pildesti were the better team. FC Steaua Pildesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
