Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augustin Horea got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Traian Roşu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Traian Roşu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Alupulesei came free, but Octavian Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 26th minute of the match. Ştefan Alupulesei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Roşu in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Roşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Nichifor Vergulescu. But to his dismay, Nichifor Vergulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Vlăsiu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor. But to his dismay, Augustin Nechifor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Nechifor was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Flavius Băieșu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Steaua Pildesti the free kick. After 51 played minutes, FC Steaua Pildesti's Valer Uncheşelu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Steaua Pildesti reached it. Traian Roşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 60 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Roşu came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavius Băieșu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Costin Iorgu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. The goal made the score 0-6. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Liviu Alupulesei got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sebastian Matei hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Valer Uncheşelu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nicu Arghirescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Steaua Pildesti. With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Costin Iorgu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. That made the score 0-7 after 84 minutes of play. After 89 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Băieșu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Iorgu.
