The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Alexandru Siteavu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cristian Fărcașu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Iurie Cocoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zbora in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Marin Tufescu hit a great ball. Marian Basarab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Chirculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Buffalo Timişoara's Marian Basarab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Tinu in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Buffalo Timişoara's Marin Tufescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iurie Cocoș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Timofte came free, but Iurie Cocoș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Boris Becker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buffalo Timişoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Zbora in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Cocoș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Arnulfo Marino made a precise shot to the right of Iurie Cocoș. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Dorinel Munteanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Marian Basarab however easily saved by the left post. In the 28th minute, Alexandru Siteavu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 29th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Tufescu in the 31st minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Adrian Zbora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iurie Cocoș. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Zbora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Tinu to make the kick off. Iurie Cocoș came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Arnulfo Marino. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Marino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Arnulfo Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Ganjar Prabowo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Tinu scored 1-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Basarab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ganjar Prabowo got free with Iurie Cocoș in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iurie Cocoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganjar Prabowo in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Tufescu got free with Iurie Cocoș in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iurie Cocoș didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ganjar Prabowo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute, Arnulfo Marino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buffalo Timişoara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
