Damian Vieru was a little too slow when Adrian Zbora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Danil Merkushev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Vieru having to interfere. Damian Vieru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danil Merkushev in the 15th minute. After 19 minutes of play, Buffalo Timişoara's Adrian Zbora made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Vieru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Vieru made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Adrian Zbora sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Angheluș in the 27th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Marian Basarab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Albert Dășanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Emerald's Damian Vieru got control of the ball when Marin Tufescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Emerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Râznicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Marin Tufescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Buffalo Timişoara's Adrian Zbora in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Emerald's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Vieru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Merkushev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marin Tufescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Marin Bârza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marian Basarab. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Emerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achraf Hakimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danil Merkushev in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Adrian Zbora notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Emerald's Damian Vieru. Damian Vieru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Emerald defense, Marin Tufescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Vieru. The Emerald fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Vieru should have stopped the shot. Adrian Zbora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Vieru having to make a save. Victor Angheluș hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 67th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Damian Vieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Vieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Zbora in the 68th minute of the match. Danil Merkushev charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danil Merkushev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danil Merkushev hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Alin Şantău replaced Cornel Timofte. Danil Merkushev kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Damian Vieru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Tufescu in the 77th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Jesco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Tufescu in the 80th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Damian Vieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnulfo Marino struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Damian Vieru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buffalo Timişoara. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Buffalo Timişoara. Boris Becker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damian Vieru. 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buffalo Timişoara had played much better football throughout.
