After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ovidiu Borza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidiu Borza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cisco Rubial breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aristide Pupăzan hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, AC Ony's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Itoafă came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donald Tusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Itoafă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cisco Rubial having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Milan got free with Silviu Lung in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cisco Rubial showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Pupăzan in the 30th minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes Stiinta-Univ.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julio Dei who took care of the corner kick. AC Ony's Julio Dei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silviu Lung in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donald Tusk got free with Silviu Lung in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Tusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Feng Qian Chao's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feng Qian Chao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, AC Ony was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feng Qian Chao to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciprian Milan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Milan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silviu Lung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Burdujan. 61 minutes into the match, AC Ony's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Itoafă came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When AC Ony's Shi Jian Song in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stiinta-Univ.'s goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stiinta-Univ.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Ony's players had a chance to rest. Shi Jian Song recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute of the game Mircea Creangă made a throw-in which Aristide Pupăzan played forward. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Jian Song in the 82nd minute of play. Shi Jian Song scored 1-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Lung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Jian Song, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AC Ony's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Dei in the 93rd minute. The corner led AC Ony's Julio Dei to fire away a dangerous shot which Silviu Lung despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Jian Song in the 94th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Aluncai. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC Ony had won after a very even match.
