Petrică Nicolae started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Petrică Nicolae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Zăhărescu. FC MeHigh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Nicolae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Florin Zăhărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Nicolae in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Warka in the 11th minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Vasile Ecobici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Cangeopol came free, but Florin Zăhărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC MeHigh's Florin Zăhărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Baicea in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, VIP's Vasile Ecobici got control of the ball when Roland Warka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Nicolae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Zăhărescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Cătălin Cangeopol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Radu Isăceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. VIP's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Isăceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Zăhărescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg got free with Vasile Ecobici in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Francisc Trifan hit a great ball. Vasile Ecobici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Warka in the 37th minute of the match. Vasile Ecobici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Warka, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Dăscălescu to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Ecobici made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Roland Warka sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Roland Warka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vasile Ecobici. Roland Warka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Roland Warka made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Gabriel Avramescu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Roland Warka took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasile Ecobici. Vasile Ecobici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 60 played minutes FC MeHigh got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Suluțiu. In the 63rd minute, Radu Mutu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Radu Mutu hit a great ball. When Vintilă Cernea fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIP's protests and gave Vintilă Cernea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, VIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Cernea to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Roland Warka made a precise shot to the right of Vasile Ecobici. VIP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 73rd minute Roland Warka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Ecobici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Ecobici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moise Pantilimon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC MeHigh's Dumitru Sasu got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Roland Warka notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of VIP's Vasile Ecobici. Vasile Ecobici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Roland Warka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MeHigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Vasile Ecobici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
