Petrică Ţirpescu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Birișu came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marioara Birligea in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Mihai Opriș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Emilian Ciprian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Petrolul Berca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Damian Târban charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
