The audience thought a goal was coming when Cédric Payen got free with Nistor Arjoca in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Birișu came free, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of -BZF- Petrolul Berca booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mons Vallestad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergiu Cobâlcescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Ciprian in the 31st minute of play. Dudu Georgescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Isac Baldovin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Codruț Podgoreanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nistor Arjoca. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 47th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugeniusz Mnich to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Eliodor Birișu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Nistor Arjoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mons Vallestad in the 55th minute of play. Nistor Arjoca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cédric Payen in the 58th minute of play. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cédric Payen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 61st minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Nistor Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Arjoca. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cédric Payen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Nistor Arjoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Podgoreanu in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Emilian Ciprian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cobâlcescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Nistor Arjoca. Nistor Arjoca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Mo Yin Wen was substituted for Vintilă Puișoru. After 78 minutes, Emilian Ciprian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Petrolul Berca and the Minerul Baita -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Ciprian to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Arjoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Podgoreanu in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Podgoreanu in the 90th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Nistor Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cédric Payen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Arjoca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
