Eduard Rioşanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Ernie Ball left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 17 minutes, Diego Tristan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Incoinsight's Eduard Rioşanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müslüm Civanmert in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Incoinsight getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonard Cristea hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Diego Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Rioşanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Adrian Isăilă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Incoinsight's Eduard Rioşanu did a great save. 31 minutes into the game, Diego Tristan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eduard Rioşanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumitru Dumitrescu in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Comizzo saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Rioşanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorin Zgîrţa hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. The Incoinsight players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Bâru was the one to do the kick off. Ernie Ball might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Rioşanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernie Ball ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernie Ball got free with Eduard Rioşanu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Ernie Ball left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Ernie Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernie Ball in the 65th minute of play forced Incoinsight's goalkeeper Eduard Rioşanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernie Ball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernie Ball might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Rioşanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernie Ball ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ernie Ball sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduard Rioşanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diego Tristan struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Eduard Rioşanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. Ernie Ball took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Rioşanu. Eduard Rioşanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 79 minutes into the game, Ernie Ball recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduard Rioşanu. Ernie Ball showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 88th minute Tudor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Renan Trancoso. In the 93rd minute of the match, Ernie Ball got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eduard Rioşanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Batalionul U23 Dorobanti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
