Dan Eftimiu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Avram Nițoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute of the match C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a corner. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denis Nisipeanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Agudaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avram Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Edmund Przybyciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CRYSTAL SHIP the free kick. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Przybyciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Nițoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Rage, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Tahsin Paksu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Avram Nițoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Botello in the 29th minute of play. Patricio Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Codruț Turcescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ingvar Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Edmund Przybyciel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Avram Nițoi. Avram Nițoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Avram Nițoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Armando Maradona in the 46th minute of the match. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Josan in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remus Agudaru made a kick off. Diego Armando Maradona took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avram Nițoi. Avram Nițoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Josan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Armando Maradona in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Nițoi saved THE CRYSTAL SHIP from getting behind. Angelo Rage hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when THE CRYSTAL SHIP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Rage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes THE CRYSTAL SHIP got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Itoafă. 86 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Armando Maradona came free, but Avram Nițoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Diego Armando Maradona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C Ａ R D I N Ａ L fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 95 minutes of play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Diego Armando Maradona made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avram Nițoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
