Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iosif Doicaru got the match started through his kick off. Vitko Vutev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Petre went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sever Dobrescu hit a great ball. If Leontin Iacobescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Leontin Iacobescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Leontin Iacobescu sped through Rasnita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matei Boldișor. In the 20th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Iacobescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rasnita's goalkeeper Matei Boldișor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, MIT's Leontin Iacobescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matei Boldișor. Matei Boldișor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Sabin Eniceicu charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Eniceicu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sabin Eniceicu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Marius Pârcălab ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitko Vutev was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Matei Boldișor was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Cristi Foltea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristi Foltea really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Matei Boldișor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Iacobescu in the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leontin Iacobescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Leontin Iacobescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Boldișor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, MIT's Cristi Foltea got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vitko Vutev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Doicaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MIT's Marcu Voitiş got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcu Voitiş's late challenge caught a Rasnita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcu Voitiş helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, MIT's Marcu Voitiş got a free kick in the 60th minute. Rasnita's Matei Boldișor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 65th minute of play. Edgar Teodor hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Matei Dacian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MIT's Sever Dobrescu got a free kick in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rasnita's Dumitru Drăghici tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, MIT's Leontin Iacobescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matei Boldișor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Iosif Doicaru came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rasnita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Doicaru couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Matei Dacian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rasnita's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Dacian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitko Vutev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Iosif Doicaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasnita's Matei Boldișor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 88th minute of play. The MIT players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
