Bacardi FC's Arend Van Beneden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi FC from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when North Hill United's David De Raeijmaecker fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. In the 66th minute Omer Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arend Van Beneden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
