Thommy Pelgrims started the match with the kick off. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Terwenhout in the 3rd minute of play. Waut Vanden Berghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Lanphant in the 5th minute of the match. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Reijnders, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Twierdza Osowiec from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Faustino Cordaryal put in a rough tackle. Waut Vanden Berghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binjamin Denturck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Twierdza Osowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacque De Wit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Thommy Pelgrims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Twierdza Osowiec defense, Georges-Philippe Engels kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waut Vanden Berghe. The Twierdza Osowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waut Vanden Berghe should have stopped the shot. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Pelgrims in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Jammy De Keijsere got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Lanphant in the 37th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rene Callewaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waut Vanden Berghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diederiek Daems in the 43rd minute. Brugge United's Binjamin Denturck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Twierdza Osowiec. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lou Winnepenninck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ryan Lanphant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waut Vanden Berghe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 58 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Lou Winnepenninck. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steff Caers, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Steff Caers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Steff Caers came free, but Waut Vanden Berghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ryan Lanphant notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe. Waut Vanden Berghe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 77 minutes of play, Brugge United's Ryan Lanphant made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waut Vanden Berghe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diederiek Daems scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waut Vanden Berghe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Twierdza Osowiec's Waut Vanden Berghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Lanphant in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Dan Reijnders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thommy Pelgrims, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Lanphant came free, but Waut Vanden Berghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steff Caers scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waut Vanden Berghe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Steff Caers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Vanden Berghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brugge United fully deserved thier win.
