The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lemi Çağa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Jan-Erik Thorsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dan Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedemora's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Turina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the game, Rutger Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan-Erik Thorsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 minutes of play, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Erik Thorsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18thth minute of the game Gaafar Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedemora's Jan-Erik Thorsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rutger Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Erik Thorsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rutger Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Erik Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Magnusson in the 26th minute of play. Jan-Erik Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaafar Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Rutger Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Jan-Erik Thorsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Olsman lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Örebro FF a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rutger Magnusson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hedemora's Jan-Erik Thorsberg. 0-7. Jan-Erik Thorsberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaafar Jesus's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The throw-in from Nils Kiempe in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Örebro FF's Djondo Djokodamono. In the 43rd minute, Gaafar Jesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örebro FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Jan-Erik Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hedemora booed when Örebro FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rutger Magnusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Erik Thorsberg came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus. But to his dismay, Gaafar Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 56th minute, Rutger Magnusson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan-Erik Thorsberg. The goal made the score 0-10. Jan-Erik Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaafar Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Erik Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaafar Jesus in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Rutger Magnusson took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Jan-Erik Thorsberg to make any attempt to save it. Hedemora's Jan-Erik Thorsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Hedemora from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Magnusson in the 71st minute of play forced Hedemora's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Chiose in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Hedemora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Wikander to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, Örebro FF's Gaafar Jesus made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Erik Thorsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gaafar Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Chiose got free with Jan-Erik Thorsberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaafar Jesus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Jan-Erik Thorsberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Viggo Wikander hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gaafar Jesus could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Jan-Erik Thorsberg however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute of the match Örebro FF got a corner. Hedemora's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaafar Jesus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Örebro FF's Andrei Chiose was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Erik Thorsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaafar Jesus in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Erik Thorsberg saved Hedemora from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutger Magnusson in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Thorsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaafar Jesus had several of the Hedemora's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-14 score and a disappointed Jan-Erik Thorsberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 97 in the game by Gaafar Jesus from a close distance when the talented Jan-Erik Thorsberg managed to make a qualified save. Hedemora's players were relieved. When the match was over Örebro FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hedemora throughout the match.
