An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 35th minute of play forced Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Joel Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Joel Eliasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Schmeissen FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witold Serwacki was slow to take the kick. During this time Degerfors IF's players had a chance to rest. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them.

In the 54th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Joel Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tuncay Cansever sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Tuncay Cansever sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when Schmeissen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Tunander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Schmeissen FC's Axel Beck was substituted for Alf Törnkvist. 79 minutes into the match, Schmeissen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncay Cansever came free, but Joel Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Tuncay Cansever made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Eliasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Strandberg in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Schmeissen FC got a corner. Degerfors IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Torbjörn Arhenius ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Torbjörn Arhenius got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Håkan Söderberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Joel Eliasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Sonny Spets threw the ball into play from the sideline. Degerfors IF's Karl Grep quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 90th minute, Tuncay Cansever left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Degerfors IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Witold Serwacki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Degerfors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Serwacki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Schmeissen FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Robert Dahlberg hit a great ball.
