The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesus Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chuck Ruff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Svanström in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Kinnman in the 20th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Jörgen Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Sandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvin Sandberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Six Pac FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Gummeson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Sandberg went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sixt Pack could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jörgen Gummeson made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Sixt Pack came free, but Jörgen Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chuck Ruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Arce in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Sixt Pack tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jörgen Gummeson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Six Pac FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lennart Svanström was slow to take the kick. During this time Garphyttan's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
