The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miran Burgič in the 3rd minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Joacim Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Sören Wennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joacim Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miran Burgič went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Segmon IF's goal looked a bit too open when Miran Burgič came free, but Joacim Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joacim Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Simpson went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Miran Burgič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim Öberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Joacim Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Simpson in the 24th minute of play. Isaac Martinsson's late challenge caught a Segmon IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Martinsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Pascal Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ulf Vestberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Asper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Elg in the 33rd minute of play. Pascal Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joacim Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miran Burgič went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 48 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Sören Wennersten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joacim Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernt Henriksson to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Pascal Simpson could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Joacim Öberg however easily saved by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Pascal Simpson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joacim Öberg. Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascal Simpson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 64th minute Pascal Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joacim Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Kjellberg. Sören Wennersten scored 0-7 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joacim Öberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Miran Burgič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Miran Burgič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Pascal Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Simpson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joacim Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miran Burgič in the 84th minute of the match. Pascal Simpson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Joacim Öberg made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Pascal Simpson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joacim Öberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Timmy Lindmark hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
