The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Ignacio Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christer Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Billberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Christer Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lirarnas Lag's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Wästerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Billberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Billberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Billberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Wästerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 13 minutes of play, Lirarnas Lag's Christer Wästerberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Billberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 李煜 Wu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute Hjalmar Kråk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Enström made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ignacio Donostia sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Billberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Wästerberg in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Ignacio Donostia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sonstorps Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alf Enström was a little too slow when Mark Dahlberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hjalmar Kråk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Billberg having to interfere. Adrian Billberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Wästerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Wästerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christer Wästerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Billberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christer Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Adrian Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Donostia in the 58th minute of play. Christer Wästerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Adrian Billberg made a huge save. Adrian Billberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Wästerberg in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Christer Wästerberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adrian Billberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 74 minutes, Christer Wästerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lirarnas Lag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Wästerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Christer Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sonstorps Fotboll's Jan Hellsing got a free kick in the 80th minute. Christer Wästerberg struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Adrian Billberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. Mark Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alf Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sonstorps Fotboll's Ignacio Donostia in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lirarnas Lag's goalie prevented a goal. Alf Enström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonstorps Fotboll. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sonstorps Fotboll players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
