But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. Jimmie Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Tobias Möllgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Firma Barnängen's Jimmie Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, SE7EN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Kullgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Karl-Michael Jansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viktor Berggren. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lindström in the 31st minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Vintilă Şimonca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Firma Barnängen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE7EN the free kick. Jimmie Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jimmie Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hampus Gunnarsson went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half SE7EN were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 82 minutes, Karl-Michael Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The SE7EN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SE7EN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
