An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Iurașcu in the 4th minute of play forced Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Stefan Falck fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermanö Oilers's protests and gave Stefan Falck a yellow card for diving instead. Stefan Falck hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 8th minute, but Philip Gallin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Stjärnblomster hanging dry this time. 10 minutes into the game, Stjärnblomster's Eugen Iurașcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sonny Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hermanö Oilers's goalkeeper Sonny Åkesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Stjärnblomster getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sven-Ove Berggren hit a great ball. Anders Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Iurașcu in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 minutes of play, Stjärnblomster's Eugen Iurașcu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Åkesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Eugen Iurașcu scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Åkesson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sonny Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Iurașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The Hermanö Oilers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stjärnblomster were winning 1-3.

Stjärnblomster made a substitution. Aprígio Aleixo replaced Patrik Smefeldt. Stjärnblomster's Steffen Kullgren was substituted for Eugen Iurașcu. 55 minutes into the match, Stjärnblomster's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wallgren came free, but Philip Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aprígio Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermanö Oilers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Steffen Kullgren scored to the left of an out of position Sonny Åkesson, making the score, 1-4. Stjärnblomster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Vallejos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sonny Åkesson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Ove Berggren. Hermanö Oilers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Steffen Kullgren scored to the left of an out of position Sonny Åkesson, making the score, 1-5. Philip Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Åberg in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, one of Hermanö Oilers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Stjärnblomster. Sven-Ove Berggren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sonny Åkesson. 1-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen Kullgren in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Åkesson saved Hermanö Oilers from getting behind. In the 90thth minute of the game Steffen Kullgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermanö Oilers's Sonny Åkesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stjärnblomster eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
