With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Enegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Protegéerna's zone, Bengt Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Vallin came out of the goal and Bengt Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Bennet in the 47th minute of play forced Henley Utd's goalkeeper Benjamin Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
