A collision led to Börna Bulldogs getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joakim Kilström hit a great ball. David Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Lundström in the 5th minute of the match. Joakim Kilström kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Protegéerna's Roy Bennet in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Börna Bulldogs's goalie prevented a goal. Börna Bulldogs's David Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Bennet in the 12th minute of play. David Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Protegéerna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olof Löfkvist in the 17th minute. Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Lindell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Bennet in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Lindell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Roy Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roy Bennet in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Lindell saved Börna Bulldogs from getting behind. Roy Bennet scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Lindell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roy Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lindell having to interfere. Roy Bennet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Lindell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Henning Blomberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Roy Bennet came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Bennet couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the game, Joakim Kilström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Protegéerna's Fredrik Billberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Olof Löfkvist's late challenge caught a Börna Bulldogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Löfkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes, Börna Bulldogs's Joakim Kilström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Georg Vallin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Börna Bulldogs reached it. In the 41st minute Bo-Erik Springfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lindell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Lindell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Börna Bulldogs's zone, Roy Bennet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Lindell came out of the goal and Roy Bennet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Joakim Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrik Godholm was the one to do the kick off. Joakim Kilström made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Richard Bergman. Protegéerna's Oscar Löfgren was substituted for Fredrik Billberg. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Börna Bulldogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olof Löfkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Protegéerna's players had a chance to rest. Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Lindell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Lindell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roy Bennet went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Bo-Erik Springfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Börna Bulldogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Godholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Gallberg in the 84th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo-Erik Springfält during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Bo-Erik Springfält got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Roy Gallberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Lindell. The goal made the score 0-4. 93 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik Springfält had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Lindell. Börna Bulldogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo-Erik Springfält was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Olof Löfkvist got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Protegéerna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Börna Bulldogs.
